<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-02-031 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-02 (SEALCOAT AND CRACKFILL OF STREETS IN <br />FOX RIDGE - POTASSIUM ST & POTASSIUM COURT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 12, <br />2008, a feasibility study for the 2008 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #08-02 (Sealcoat and Crackfill <br />of the streets in Fox Ridge - Potassium St & Potassium Court) including the streets more <br />specifically described below: and, <br /> <br />172nd Lane <br />Potassium Ct. <br />Potassium 81. <br /> <br />from <br />from <br />from <br /> <br />T.H.47 <br />Potassium 8t <br />172nd Lane <br /> <br />to <br />to <br />to <br /> <br />Potassium 81. <br />Cui de sac <br />Potassium Ct. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of crackfilling and <br />sealcoating of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of <br />$11,030. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 11 th day of <br />March, 2008 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-02-031 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
