<br />J.- <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />Topic Report: Sunfish Lake Park <br />By: Mark Riverblood, Parks Supervisor <br /> <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The purpose of this topic. report is to discuss the proposed park development for the municipally <br />owned land at Sunfish Lake. The city has a long history of involving residents in neighborhood <br />park development planning. The work plan for Sunfish Lake Park accordingly,. includes several <br />opportunities for public participation - one of which was the mailing to approximately 700 <br />addresses inviting residents to provide their thoughts at the Park and Recreation Commission <br />meeting on March 13th, 2008. <br /> <br />The consultants, Brauer and Associates Ltd., the firm engagedto assist the city in this park <br />planning endeavor; will be available at Work Session to discuss the opportunities.presented by <br />the site and to learn of City Councils thoughts on this project.
