-146- <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9.11.08 (OFF - STREET PARKING) OF THE <br />RAMSEY CITY CODE. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2 REPEAL AND AMEND <br />Section 9.11.08 of the Ramsey City Code is hereby repealed and replaced with the following <br />text: <br />9.11.08 Off: Street Parking. <br />Subd. 1. General Provisions. <br />a. All off - street parking areas shall be surfaced with blacktop or concrete <br />except for rural residential uses. Any other surface material shall require <br />approval by the City Council. Such area shall be graded and drained so as <br />to dispose of all surface water accumulation as determined by the City <br />Engineer. <br />All off- street parking spaces shall have access off driveways and not <br />directly off the public street unless otherwise approved by City Council. <br />c. When application of these regulations results in a requirement of a <br />fractional space, any fraction up to and including one half shall be <br />disregarded. Fractions over one half shall count as one additional space. <br />Subd. 2. Commercial and Industrial Development. <br />
