Absent: Trites Rolle. <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br />1) City Council Regular meeting minutes dated December 11, 2007 <br />2) City Council Regular meeting minutes dated January 8, 2008 <br />3) City Council Regular meeting minutes dated January 22, 2008 <br />4) City Council Regular meeting minutes dated February 12, 2008 <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS /COMMISSION BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Request for a Home Occupation Permit; Case of April Mastell <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:06 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br />Public Hearing <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:06 p.m. <br />Presentation <br />Associate Planner Dalnes stated the applicant is requesting a home occupation permit to conduct <br />a salon business out of one room on the lower level of her home. The salon area will be <br />accessible from both her garage and her main living area, and will be restricted to the dwelling <br />unit. The total amount of space to be utilized for the business is 128 square feet, which will not <br />exceed 20% of the living space of the home. There will be no outside employees, and a minimal <br />number of clients.
