Case #11:'~ &uthorize Purchase of Truck and Snow Plow for lYepartment Public Works Merle Mev[sSen,~Public Works Supervisor stated he normally does his own bidding for equipment for the Publt~ .W,_'~i~rks Department; however, the City belongs to Hennepin County Purchasing and this year tkelr bids have come in approximately $2,500.00 below other prices. He stated the Purchase O!;~.der has to be in by January 17, 1992, which did not allow him the privilege of a prior discussion ,&i~h ~e Budget Committee.
