<br />CASE #: ~ <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Community Development Staff <br /> <br /> <br />Memo <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />April 25, 2008 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Ramsey Planning Commission <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Staff Update <br /> <br />City Council Update. The following is a brief summary of actions taken in April that may be of interest <br />to the Planning Commission: <br /> <br />Amending the Off-Street Parking Regulations. The off-street parking standards were sent back to City <br />Council worksession for further discussion. <br /> <br />Amending the Home Occupation Permit Regulations. The proposed changes to the home occupation <br />permits were approved, with twoprimary changes, which were: 1) businesses currently not required to <br />obtain a home occupation permit would not be required under the new standards, and 2) property owners <br />with less than 3 acres would be allowed up to one additional employee. <br /> <br />New Planning Commission Member. As you know, the City Council appointed a new member to the <br />Planning Commission. His name is Bryan Rogers, and he has a background in business and banking. <br />Welcome to Bryan! . <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan Update. The City Council will be fmishing their review of the draft goals and <br />policies at their worksession on May 6th.
