Riders who have a
Metropass or a $1 04 Go-To Card 31-
Day Pass with extra stored value to
pay the higher fare, may remove the
stored value and request a refund by
visiting any Metro Transit store.
The Ramsey Star Express is
an express, commuter coach offer-
ing direct service from the Ramsey
Municipal Parking Ramp in Ramsey
Town Center to the 5th Street Ga-
rage in downtown Minneapolis.
The Ramsey Star Express has four
(4) morning trips from Ramsey to
Minneapolis and four (4) return trips
from Minneapolis to Ramsey in the
late afternoon/early evening, Monday
through Friday. The Ramsey Munici-
pal Parking Ramp, 7650 Sunwood
Drive NW, is located adjacent to the

Ramsey Mu-
nicipal Center and
Police Department
and provides addi-
tional security by
recording activ-
ity in the ramp
twenty-four hours
a day, seven days a weelc For a full
schedule, visit www.commutercoach.
org or call 1-888-528-8880.
The city of Ramsey has also
embark_ed on an aggressive campaign
to secure a rail station on the North-
star Commuter Rail in Ramsey. The
Ramsey Municipal Parking Ramp
stands ready to serve the N orthstar
Commuter Rail, with federal funding
in place to construct additional park:-
ing spaces. The Ramsey Municipal
Parking Ramp sits in the heart of
Ramsey Town Center, a transit-ori-
ented, pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use
development in Ramsey. "Since the
Ramsey Star Express is proposed to
end service when the Northstar Com-
muter Rail begins in late 2009, it is
essential that we secure a rail station
today," said city of Ramsey Mayor
Tom Gamec.
