RE: 17151 Baugh Street and the planning commission meeting
You people are crazy. After watching this meeting I am shocked at your
lack of follow -up or research on anything. If you did any sort of diligence
before making decisions to allow such major changes that are impacting
our neighborhoods, you would have found that this man with the "poor me,
bought this place and assumed I could do anything I wanted there and
now I can't run my industrial fence building business here unless you feel
sorry for me" story has not only done this type of thing before in another
city (assumed he could operate a business without getting approval and
made major changes to a building without checking with the city first) as
you will see by the case law enclosed, but he was even at the city meeting
last year with members of YOUR STAFF regarding the conditional use
permit on this property that was supposed to be for storing trailers.
Apparently the ladies he met with don't have very good memories or have
conveniently forgotten so they feel compelled to allow this monstrosity of
a building to now house an IDUSTRIAL business in a clearly RESIDENTIAL
area
Does this mean if I purchased a property in Ramsey that was set up to
manufacture meth I wouldn't have to check with the city about the
intended use of any building, I could just do it? Come on Get a grip.
Allowing this to happen is pathetic and shows the trend of past bad
decisions will just continue to be made and forced upon us residents.
What a joke!!
