Ramsey Police Department Monthly Report <br />March 2008 <br />General Police Statistics and Highlights <br />• Check Forgery Arrest <br />Officers arrested persons involved in the use of a stolen check at a local business. <br />Documents used for creating checks and laptop computers were seized for analysis from <br />the suspect's vehicle. Evidence suggests multiple suspects were involved in the criminal <br />activity of creating and stealing checks. Investigators were able to obtain information <br />from suspects and worked with Elk River Police investigators to tie one of suspects to a <br />burglary of a home in Elk River. <br />• Animal Control <br />Six dogs were impounded at the Anoka Containment Facility, all of which were released <br />to their owners. <br />
