-18- <br />Ramsey Police Department Monthly Report <br />March 2008 <br />Crime Prevention <br />1 Northwest Anoka County Community Consortium (NWACCC) Board Meeting – <br />Review monthly activities, staffing considerations and financial reports for Youth First <br />Community of Promise. <br />2. PIMS Entry Completed the data transfer from our current business/keyholder list to <br />the new applicant system in PIMS. Second notices were sent out to approximately 45 <br />businesses that have not responded. Eighteen new business applications were sent out to <br />existing new businesses that have never registered. A new business list is now posted on <br />the city website. Vacant properties will be reviewed by the police department and <br />updated as necessary. <br />3. Safe Kids Anoka County — General meeting to discuss upcoming bike and car seat <br />clinics and staffing. General overview of monthly activities, budget and approval of <br />purchases. <br />4. Lord of Life HarvestFest Security Meeting – Met with HarvestFest security team to <br />discuss their requests for licensed officers to work at their event in September. <br />HarvestFest will be held Sept. 5 -7. They have asked to contract with Ramsey Police for <br />three officers on both Friday and Saturday nights, as well as reserve officers. <br />5 Car Seat Checks – Did four car seat checks at the PD. <br />
