Community Development Director Miller stated that when there aren't events, they have <br />indicated that they intend to leave the courtyard area open for the public to use. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that there continues to be interest from developers in the area. <br />He stated that the bank is scheduled for foreclosure on May 2, 2008, but he advised the Council <br />not to hold their breath. <br />Councilmember Elvig stated that he wanted to thank City Administrator Ulrich for his positive <br />outlook about the RTC in a recent newspaper article. He stated that this is the first time when the <br />"spin" has gone in the City's direction and noted that as soon as this article appeared, he started <br />getting calls from developers asking about the project. <br />Mayor Gamec noted that at the meeting, the Solomon Group had a lot of bad information, so this <br />was a chance to set them straight. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that Solomon Group would like to get a restaurant on the corner <br />and has asked the City if they would help with a market survey. He stated that he has sent this to <br />the EDA for discussion.
