Case #3: Receive Proposal for Insuring Equitable and Orderly Park Planning <br /> ; and Development <br /> <br />introduced ~ th~ Park and Recreation Commission to help formulate the 1993 Parks Capital <br />Improvem¢~ pla~ and begin the five-year parks plan. <br /> <br />Ways to pri ~or~fiz~ park development were discussed such as the amount of park development in the <br />district, the natural resources, demographics and the asset value. <br /> <br />Case #4: Review the Park and Recreation Commission Capital Improvements <br /> program (C.I.P.) <br /> <br />Parks/UtilitieS Coordinator Boos stated he has some lengthy visual aids for this case and due to <br />time constra~ts, asked that it be tabled until the next meeting. <br /> <br />COMMIS$ION INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gilb$~so0 commented that this joint meeting was very helpful for the Council to be more <br />informed abloUt v~here park development is in the City. <br /> <br />Councilmern§er Zimmerman complimented the Park and Recreation Commission on what a "good <br />group of CommiSsioners" they are. <br /> <br />Commissioner SWokowski extended a thank you to the Council and also to City Administrator <br />Schroeder fox/th~qr attendance and time. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by COmmissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Swokowski to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carricxl. ,Voting Yes: Chairperson Hetland, Commissioners Johnson, Swokowski, Cook, <br />Florentius, 130olein and Prall.
