<br />Councilmember Olson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-02-047 <br /> <br />CONSIDER APPROVING THE REVISED 2008 CITY HEALTH INSURANCE <br />CONTRIBUTION FOR NON-UNION EMPLOYEES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to offer employees a contribution toward health insurance <br />premiums, and . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revised health insurance contribution is in line with what has been <br />tentatively agreed to by LELS-Patrol andLELS-Sergeants, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the revised health insurance contribution can be covered by the current <br />2008 General Fund Budget. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />1) Confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to do the following: <br /> <br />Authorize the following monthly health insurance contributions for non-union employees: <br /> <br />HDHP* single $485.33 <br />HDHP* family $742.36 <br /> <br />$20/80% single $456.30 <br />$20/80% family $742.36 <br /> <br />$20/100% single $474.65 <br />$20/100% family $742.36 <br /> <br />* The City's 2008 HDHP contribution includes the $4.60 monthly claim fee. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Courtcilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />andthe following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br />
