He <br />added that inl RuSsia, they can't get food to the people. <br /> <br />Resident, 15641 ~Potassium Street N.W., Ramsey - stated they have lived behind Pete Barthold for <br />12 years andithe only time the odor was strong was when the wind was blowing form the east and <br />then it's not~all .that unbearable. He felt this whole issue started with children shooting fire <br />crackers, Bat'thold called the cops and the children got in trouble. He felt this was more an issue <br />because of la~lgry parents/neighbors. <br /> <br />Carol Milleri 15916 St. Francis Boulevard N.W., Ramsey - stated that the smell started in May, <br />1990. She a~lded there was no odor in 1988 and felt that the City should not run Barthold out of <br />business but gee how many pigs he had in 1988 and reduce his herd to that amount. <br /> <br />Claudia Sundeen, 15941 Osmium Street N.W., Ramsey - stated she's lived here for 18 years and <br />doesn't wantr, to force Mr. Barthold out, however, she doesn't want the odor either. She felt there <br />has to be sortie way to control the odor. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the written materials and the petitions would be included <br />with the minctes of tonight's public hearing as part of the public record. <br /> <br />ADJOURNME~NT <br /> <br />Motion by C0unCilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
