She was concerned that there would not be enough funds <br />in the charitable gambling fund as it starts with a balance of $200,000 and $195,000 of that is to <br />be used for the skate park. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson advised that there are already commitments to some of the money <br />available in this fund. He advised that along with the large chunk of funds set aside for Alpine <br />Park there is also $14,000 slated for a fishing pier along the Mississippi River. He advised that <br />he had just figured out today that there would only be $11,000 available in the fund.
