<br />7.51.19 Hours and Days of Sale <br /> <br />Subdivision 1. 3.2 percent malt liquor. No sale of 3.2 percent malt liquor may be <br />made between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the days of Monday through Saturday, nor between <br />1 :00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Sunday expect as provided in Subds. 3. and 4. of this Subsection. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Intoxicating liquor; on,.sale. No sale of intoxicating liquor for consumption <br />on the licensed premises may be made: <br /> <br />a. between 1 :00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the days of Monday through Saturday except as <br />provided in Subd. 4.; <br /> <br />b. after 1 :00 a.m. on Sundays, except as provided by Subds. 3. and 4. of this Subsection. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Intoxicating liquor; Sunday sales; on-sale. <br /> <br />A restaurant, club, bowling center, or hotel with a seating capacity for at least 30 persons <br />and which holds an on-sale intoxicating liquor license may sell intoxicating liquor for <br />consumption on the premises in conjunction with the sale of food between the hours of 10:00 <br />a.m. on Sundays and 1:00 a.m. on Mondays. <br /> <br />Subd.4. Sales after 1:00 a.m.; Special License. <br /> <br />a. State Permit Required. Sales after 1:00 a.m. No licensee may sell intoxicating <br />liquor or 3.2 percent malt liquor on.:.sale between the hours of 1 :00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. unless the <br />licensee has obtained a permit from the commissioner pursuant to M.S.S340A.504, Subd. 7. <br /> <br />b. 2:00 a.m. Special City License Required. No licensee may sell intoxicating liquor <br />or 3.2 percent malt liquor on-sale between the hours of 1 :00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. unless the <br />licensee has obtained a 2:00 a.m. closing license from the City. Application for the 2:00 a.m. <br />closing license must be on a form the City prescribes. 2:00 a.m. closing licenses are effective for <br />one year from date of issuance. <br /> <br />c. Days Permitted. 2:00 a.m. closing licenses shall be issued only to allow sales until <br />2:00 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, July 5th and New Years Day. <br /> <br />Subd. 5. Service of Food. On-sale licensees shall be required to offer the licensee's <br />normal food service to its customers until one hour before the time the licensee is required to <br />stop selling intoxicating liquor or 3.2 percent malt liquor. <br /> <br />Subd. 6. No person shall consume nor shall anyon-sale licensee permit any <br />consumption of intoxicating liquor or 3.2 percent malt liquor in an on-sale licensed premises <br />more than 30 minutes after the time when a sale can legally occur. <br /> <br />Subd. 7. No on-sale licensee shall permit any glass, bottle or other container containing <br />intoxicating liquor or 3.2 percent malt liquor to remain upon any table, bar, stool or other place <br />where customers are served, more than 30 minutes after the time when a sale can legally occur. <br /> <br />-38- <br />
