City code 9300.30, subd. 2, is amended by the addition of the following <br />definition which is'to be inserted alphabetically and the following clauses renumbered <br />consecutively: <br /> <br />"Dynamic displav" -any characteristics of a siqn that appear to have movement <br />or that appear to chanqe, caused by any method other than phvsicallv removinq <br />and replacinq the siqn or its components, whether the apparent movement or <br />chanqe isin the displav, the siqn structure itself, or any other component of the <br />siqn. This includes a displav that incorporates a technoloqy or method allowinq <br />the siqn face to chanqe the imaqe without havinq to physicallY or mechanically <br />replace the siqn face~r its components. This also i':1c1udes any'rotatinq, <br />revolvinq, movinq, f1ashinq, blinkinq, or animated displav and any display that <br />incorporates rotatinq panels, LED Iiqhts manipulated throuqh diqital input. "diqital <br />ink" or any other method or technoloqy that allows the siqn face to present a <br />series of imaqes or displays. <br /> <br />Section 4. City code 9300.30, subd 4(a) is amended as follows: <br /> <br />a) Monument identification signs: <br />1) one sign per development; <br />2) maximum copy and graphic area as follows: <br /> <br />width of adjacent <br />right-of-way <br />less than 100 feet <br /> <br />copy and graphic <br /> <br />area <br /> <br />100 feet or greater <br /> <br />36 square feet <br />50 square feet <br /> <br />3) maximum monument area is two times the potential copy and graphic <br /> <br />area; <br /> <br />The stricken language is deleted; the underlined language is inserted. <br /> <br />50 <br />
