Case of North Fork, Inc. <br />Zoning.l~drrdnistrator Frolik stated that North Fork, Inc. is requesting final plat approval of <br />Northf0r. !t L~e Addition. The proposed addition consists of 18 lots and a man-made lake. <br />North ~k l~,as given approval to deviate from the City's grid pattern for street names <br />subject ~th~ City Engineer's approval. Also the street pavement width is proposed at 29 <br />feet verSOs fig standard 31 feet. <br /> <br />Dennis p~k,i representing North Fork, Inc., voiced concern over having to pay for a street <br />light prbl[os~d to be placed where the light benefit goes to a U.S. Trunk Highway and a <br />State A',~ro~. He felt it doesn't have any connection with North Fork Lake Addition and <br />suggest~x~ it ~as unfair to be expected to pay $1,500 for this light. <br /> <br />City E Jankowski stated that in rural subdivisions, the City is asking that street light <br />be placefd[at r0ajor intersections into the subdivisions. <br /> <br />After so~n~.e discussion, it was determined that City Staff and Mr. Peck would negotiate a <br />cost sh~$ng of the street light and the development agreement would be amended <br />accordilt~y. <br /> <br />Mot~on bl/CO, Uncflmember Z~mmerman and seconded by Counc~lmember Hard~n to adopt <br />Resolut[o'l~ ~J~.2-11-305 granting final plat approval to Northfork Lake Addition contingent <br />upon th~ 4ev~!oper entering into a development agreement with the City. <br />Motion ¢flrried. Absent: Councilmembers Beyer and Peterson. <br />Case W~} I Adopt Electric Franchise Ordinance <br />City Adtn nis~rator Schroeder reported this is the second reading of the franchise ordinance <br />with the ~vo lelectric utilities that offer service in the City of Ramsey. The issue of a <br />franchis~ ee i~ not a point of action for this case. <br /> <br />Motion I~ Co~_ ncilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adopt <br />Ordinan¢~ #9r~-13 granting Anoka Electric Cooperative and Anoka Municipal Electric <br />Company/i t fr~chise for electric distribution systems. <br /> <br />Motion ea'del!.
