Motion schedule Counci ,In,ember Zimmerman stated that it appeared the development efforts were focused on the ~oOth~'n part of the Metro Area development and that an affiliation with the AMM was lika a, sta~ement of support for the southern development. Couneil~eml~r Peterson stated that in the years he's been on the Council, it was not really "broado~ ~t" Sy the AMM that the City could "turn to them for help". Petition for Local Improvement (Street Project) Cay A~nt~!rator Schroeder stated the C~ty has received a petmon from over 50% of the property ~wni~rs along Bison Street N.W. between 171st Avenue N.W. and 173rd Avenue N.W. regtljesfing pawng. Motion b~t C4uncilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to accept the petition a~d direct City Engineer Jankowski to prepare a feasibility study. Further d~s. eu~sion: Councilmember Peterson inquired if it had been a year since the City Councihlftst ~ted on this request. Mr. Schroeder thought that it had been a year, or very close to it! an~i added that this is actually a different request. Motion b~ C<~uncilmember Hardin and seconded by Council Peterson to amend the motion to read to~,ac0ept the petition and direct City Engineer Jankowski to prepare a feasibility study subject ~o the time period between requests being a year.
