MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />Assistant City Administrator <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced that Assistant City Administrator Nelson had a baby girl <br />on May 19, 2008, and named her Lillie Claire. <br />Water Tower Open House <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that there will be an Open House for the new water tower in the <br />Alexander Ramsey room on May 22, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. <br />Ramsey3 Resignation <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that Councilmember Dehen has submitted a resignation letter to <br />discontinue serving on the Ramsey3 meetings, but noted that it is towards the end of the process. <br />Councilmember Strommen stated that they are about halfway through the process of developing <br />vision and values and thinks the group has really bonded and is working well together. <br />Comments on Streetscaping Project <br />Mayor Gamec noted that the City got excellent bids on the streetscaping work around the <br />municipal center and there have been a lot of positive comments coming in. He stated that he <br />has talked with City Administrator Ulrich about trying to possibly do some more improvements <br />in the area and noted that he would like to discuss this at a future work session. <br />Councilmember Elvig noted that the Solomon Group told the EDA recently that this work seems <br />to be fueling energy and interest in the area. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The Work Session of the City Council was adjourned at 8:23 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kurds G.
