Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich <br />Management Intern Timothy Gladhill <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:40 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Code Enforcement <br />Police Chief Way distributed three articles from the Star and Tribune about increased code <br />enforcement in other metro cities. He also distributed information regarding abatement for <br />Ramsey, beginning in September 2007. <br />Mayor Gamec asked about the fees for long grass abatement. <br />Police Chief Way stated that the fees are the costs to actually mow the grass, which depended on <br />the size of the yard. <br />Mayor Gamec confirmed that the fees listed reflected labor costs. <br />City Council Work Session / June 3, 2008 <br />Page 1 of 16 <br />
