Councilmember <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A STAFFING PLAN <br />FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND POLICE DEPARTMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the need to fill the vacant Associate Planner and Patrol Officer positions <br />has been carefully evaluated; <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator is recommending that both positions be filled; and <br />WHEREAS, filling the Associate Planner and Patrol Officer positions and following the <br />proposed staffing plan will effectively use existing resources and result in significant savings. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. Staff is directed to begin the process to fill the new Patrol Officer position <br />2. Staff is directed to begin the process to fill the vacant Associate Planner position <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />the 10 day of June 2008. <br />
