If the violations are not taken care of, a <br />public l~e ~iqg will be scheduled. She stated she has requested that Anoka County <br />Environrr ~n~l Services and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency inspect Mr. Karst's <br />facility alllo. ' <br /> <br />Mr. Bro~'n stilted that on December 8, 1992, he received a letter from a mediation group. <br />The lett¢~, wa[s also sent to Jerry Martin, another business neighbor. He felt he doesn't <br />have to si do~vn and negotiate with Mr. Karst as the City sets rules and Mr. Karst should <br />have to ii~ ,llotv them. He added that Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. looks a little <br />better bdt :hat~:Mr. Karst is still not operating within his conditional use permit. <br />Dan K~sI, A~uminum Processing, Inc., stated he's been working very hard on screening <br />and getttt!g his business to look better. He mentioned that his objective to prop,o, sing a <br />large buil, ]ingon the property was to eliminate outside storage. He stated he doesnt know <br />what Mi. M~tin and Mr. Brown expect him to do. He stated that they had all agreed to <br />meet ar0~nd ~rhanksgiving time to find out each others' goals, then shortly before the <br />meeting', ~hcy~stated they did not have time to meet. He stated that mediation services was <br />brought~t~ hi8 attention and he was willing to try that but Mr. Brown and Mr. Martin were <br />not. He~,s~tatiffi that the Department of Health and Safety, OSHA, Anoka County and the <br />City of R~' m~y have all been to his place of business for in,sPections. He added that he's <br />trying to lbrifig Lots 2, 3 and 4 up to Code.
