' <br />c) City~( ?un~cil public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated November 12, 1991. <br />d) City: .ou[ncil meeting minutes dated November 14, 1991 reconvening the meeting of <br /> Novel nb~ 12, 1991. <br /> <br />Commission ~,r Thorud noted that Council had agreed to have the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission i'eviCw the in-house projects. <br />COMMISSION,',. , BUSINESS <br /> :I P~oposed Rezonings from Industrial (I) to Rural Industrial (RI) and <br />Case <br /> #1: <br /> lB41 Business (B-l) to Rural Business (RB) <br /> <br />Zoning Adm!nisCator Frolik stated that during the public hearing held in December, property <br />owners expr~se~! the feeling that zoning from B-1 to RB and I to RI was down zoning and asked <br />about a tax fl4cre~se. She stated she met with the City Assessor and he indicated that he reviews a <br />parcel based bn Rs development potential. Therefore, going from I to RI would not be a loss of <br />development ~pot~ntial because the minimum lot size is the same. However, there is an increase in <br />the minimu~fi~,~lotlsize when going from B-1 to RB and any undeveloped B-1 Property rezoned to <br />RB would ~, renewed. She presented the Commission with some alternatives to the proposed <br />rezonings.. [ <br /> <br /> , <br />Motion by Ct}mrnissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to recommend to City <br />Council to ~l~. rg~ Rural Business and B-1 Business zoning regulations and Rural Industrial and <br />Industrial zOmng'{regulanons to be followed up with rezonlng rural industrial and business property <br />to B-1 Busifi~ss a~d I-Industrial. <br /> <br />Motion ca,ned.. Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />The CommisSion iproceeded to review the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by ;~ominissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to find #'s 8 <br />through 11 ~nltheinegative. <br />Motion carried. 'Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Bawden, <br />Deemer, LaDhe ~d Thorud. Voting No: None.
