<br />CASE # <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />PURtle HEARING <br />REQUEST FORV ACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS <br />IN KNOLL PROPERTIES ADDITION; <br />CASE OF ANDERSON DAHLEN, INC. <br />By: Tim Gladhill <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Anderson Dahlen ha,s applied for a minor subdivision to accommodate a. proposed expansion of their <br />existing manufacturing facility. A portion of the existing drainage and utility easement needs. to be <br />vacated in order to accommodate the proposed expansion. <br /> <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Knoll Properties Addition <br />c) Exhibit of underlying easements to be vacated <br />d) Proposed ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet of the <br />subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The applicant is requesting that all the drainage and utility easements on Outlot A, AEC Energy Park 4th <br />Addition be vacated. The applicant is proposing to vacate the entire drainage and utility easement and <br />rededicate the necessary drainage and utility easement as part of the proposed Knoll Properties plat. <br />. Vacation of this easement is contingent upon approval of the proposed Knoll PropertIes plat. <br /> <br />The Engineering Department has reviewed the request and recommends approval of the request. <br /> <br />Funding Source: <br /> <br />All costs associated with processing the application for easement vacation are the responsibility of the <br />applicant. <br /> <br />. Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends introduction of the ordinance to vacate the drainage and utility easements within <br />Outlot A, AEC Energy Park 4th Addition. <br /> <br />. Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #08-_ to vacate the drainage and utility easements within. Outlot A, <br />AEC Energy Park 4th Addition. <br /> <br />-149- <br />
