<br />5 - Implementation Plan <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br />~ <br />~: <br />~.... <br />~, <br />"-fZ <br />~ <br /> <br />OVERVIEW <br /> <br />Implementing the master plan for Sunfish Lake Park will require substantial initial and long- <br />term capital investments for development natural resource management operations, <br />and maintenance. Realistically, full implementation will occur over a number of years <br />as funding and other resources are made available. This section considers an overall <br />strategy for implementing the plan that takes these factors into consideration. <br /> <br />The following pages provide an overview of the estimated cost projections to implement <br />each aspect of the master plan for the Sunfish Lake Park property. The costs to <br />Implement off-site related trail connections and greenwaysare not Included <br />In this park master plan report, since these options are only conceptual at <br />this time and Involve too many unknowns relative to the overall size and <br />scale of development. <br /> <br />SITE DEVELOPMENT RELATED COST PROJECTIONS <br /> <br />The cost analysis defines the estimated costs associated with each development <br />component of the master plan for the park property. It is based on a combination of <br />site-specific development requirements and projects of similar size and complexity. <br />These estimated costs are also based on having the work completed by private <br />contractors and specialists. It does not take into consideration work that could be <br />performed by City staft volunteer groups, or by other means. <br /> <br />The cost figures are based on master plan level evaluation, which brings with it inherent <br />limitations. The cost figures are meant for general budgeting purposes, project phasing, <br />and comparing the relative cost of one item to that of another. The costs are in 2008 <br />dollars.
