NOTE CIT~I~ COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />The Commissii)n noted the following City Council meeting minutes: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />City COunCil special meeting minutes dated June 29, 1992. <br />City Cpun¢il public hearing minutes dated July 14, 1992. <br /> <br />3) City CounCil Goals Workshop minutes dated July 21, 1992. <br /> <br />PUBLIC ItEARINGS <br /> <br />Chairperson J~awden adjourned the regular portion of the Planning and Zoning Commission in <br />order to condu~t the following public hearings: <br />1) ReqUeSt for a conditional use permit for an outside display area; Case of Tom Kurak. <br /> <br />2) Reque~,t for a conditional use permit amendment to allow the disassembly of engines and <br /> trans.rrfi'ssi0ns within a building and permit the acceptance of other materials on a limited <br /> basis al Danny's Aluminum Processing, Inc.; Case of Dan Karst. <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the regular Planning and Zoning Commission back to order at 7:49 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: i Request for Sketch Plan Review of Northfork Links 3rd Addition; <br /> :Case of North Fork, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Admi~nistrator Frolik stated that Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Block 3 of the Northfork Links <br />Addition ba¢l~ up :to The Links Golf Course parking lot. By a minor subdivision, the developer is <br />seeking to r,p~lat ihese four lots into three, thereby increasing their size and making them more <br />appealing to prospective home buyers. City Staff recommends approval of the proposed re-plat. <br /> <br />Motion by Colnrrflssioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to recommend that City <br />Council grant final plat approval to Northfork Links 3rd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Holland, <br />LaDue and T .~horud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Case #2: ~Request for a Conditional Use Permit for an Outside Display/Sales <br /> -Area; Case of Tom Kurak <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that Mr. Tom Kurak is proposing to establish a motor vehicle <br />sales lot at 7665 Highway #10 N.W. The property is in B-3 Business where motor vehicle sales is <br />a permitted usC; however, a conditional use permit is required for an outside display/sales area. <br /> <br />The Commission Proceeded to review the findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by COmmissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Terry to amend #14 to read <br />That the prOposed use wdl not be unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental... <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Terry, Deemer, <br />LaDue and Thorud. Voting No: None.
