PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey~Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, October 6, <br />1992 at the~llam~e, y Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to <br />hear a req~$t t0~ vacate dedicated street easement between P.I.N. 28-32-25-31-0004 and P.I.N. <br />28-32-25-3140003; Case of John and Peter Kovar <br />Members Prdsen[' Chairperson David Bawden <br /> Commissioners Benjamin Deemer <br /> Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br /> Commissioner Paul Holland <br /> Commissioner Charles LaDue <br /> Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />Police Chief Michael Auspos <br />Project Manager James Gromberg <br /> <br />Chairperson ~awden called the public hearing to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Project Man~gerGromberg stated that Mr. John Kovar and Mr. Peter Kovar are requesting that the <br />City vacate~ ~ street easement between P.I.N. 28-32-25-31-0004 and P.I.N. 28-32-25-31-0003 that <br />was acquired in !977. He stated he has reviewed the records and there is no mention as to why <br />this easem*fit w~s initially acquired. He surmised it was to provide for a future service road <br />although dt~elto the narrowness of the lots, a frontage road that ends in a cul-de-sac along the north <br />side of the loB albng U.S. Highway gl0 would be a better location for a proposed frontage road. <br />CITIZEN INvUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by t2ommissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to close the public <br />heating. <br /> <br />Motion e ~ar~ed; Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer, <br />Hendriksen, ,LaDue, Terry and Thorud.
