<br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Request for Easement Vacation at 5939 151st Lane; Case of <br />Mr. Steve Crouteau <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the intent of this easement was to protect the wetland <br />located on the northwest comer of the property. He stated that Mr. Crouteau would like to <br />construct a shed on the northeast comer of the property. He noted that Public Works Director <br />Olson had visited the site and the area was high and dry and he does not think there will be a <br />problem vacating this easement. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:15 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearine: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7: 15 p.m. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Look, Dehen, Elvig, <br />Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec asked if there was any danger of water going into the area where the property <br />owner would like to construct the shed. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that according to Public Works Director Olson, there would not <br />be any danger of that happening. <br /> <br />Steve Crouteau, 5939 - 151st Lane, stated that he has lived there for 15 years and has never seen <br />water in this area. <br /> <br />City Council / June 10,2008 <br />Page 5 of 12 <br />
