<br />Further Discussion: Police Chief Way asked if there were violations within 90 days, whether <br />they would bring them in right away or hold off until the 120-day period had expired. City <br />Attorney Goodrich stated that they should be brought in immediately. Police Chief Way asked if <br />operating as a second hand goods dealer would still allow property to come in the front door, but <br />not be pawned. He stated that this would still need to be entered into the APS system. City <br />Attorney Goodrich stated that this can be qualified that it is just outgoing goods. . <br />Councilmember Jeffrey asked if this also required use of the APS system. Police Chief Way <br />stated that it did require that the APS be used to pull it out ofthe system. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec amended his motion, Councilmember Look seconded the amended motion, to <br />clarify that there be no incoming goods, but customers will be allowed to retrieve their product <br />or inventory that is already in the shop. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Strommen stated that she was still not convinced that this <br />would get the City anyplace. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Look, Dehen, Jeffrey, and Olson <br />Voting No: Councilmember Stromnien. Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Receive Petition for the Bituminous Paving of Chameleon Street in the <br />Shawn Acres Subdivision <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson stated that the Public Works Committee was presented with a <br />petition on May 20, 2008. He stated that staff has determined it is a valid petition and <br />recommends moving forward to receive the petition and authorize preparation of a feasibility <br />study. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that he knows of another petition in the area that is in process and asked if <br />the Council should wait until that one is received before moving forward. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson stated that he also knows of other petitions in progress, but feels <br />the Council should move forward as they are received. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Look, to receive the petition <br />and direct staff to prepare a feasibility study for the bituminous paving of Chameleon Street <br />located within the Shawn Acres subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Look, Dehen, Olson, and <br />Strommen. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Receive Petition for Audrie Street/164th Lane Improvements <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson stated that this petition was also presented at the May 20, 2008 <br />Public Works Committee meeting. He stated that he has also included a map showing the <br />lo.cation of the signators.
