<br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Application for On-Sale, Sunday and 2:00 a.m. Intoxicating <br />Liquor License; Case of Broken Spoke Saloon <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:49 p.m. in order to <br />conduct a public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearill!! <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:49 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Police Chief Way stated that Alan Hamel, William Boyum and James Green have properly <br />applied for this licensing. He stated that the original application was under the name of Broken <br />Spoke Saloon and they are now changing the name to OI'Skool Bar and Grill, LLC. He stated <br />that staff is recommending approval contingent upon receipt of an assumed name certification <br />from the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich clarified that it won't be the three individuals, but the LLC, that will <br />operate the business. <br /> <br />Citizen InDut <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Jeffrey, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Jeffrey, Dehen, Elvig, Look, <br />Olson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:52 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:52 p.m. <br /> <br />Alan Hamel, one of the owners, introduced himself and their general manager, Tim Lynch. He <br />stated that they are looking to change the venue to try to bring in clientele that hasn't been using <br />the Diamonds property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dehen asked if the liquor liability has been verified. <br /> <br />Police Chief Way stated that the dram shop insurance goes through City Clerk Jo Thieling. <br /> <br />City Council / July 22, 2008 <br />Page 9 of 23 <br />
