Member LeTourneau noted Benchmark Properties signage is still posted at Ramsey Town Center
on Ramsey Boulevard. Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan indicated the trailers and
signage are currently in the process of being removed from the property.

Community Development Director Miller reported the following:
. The MPCA is requesting that all landfill sites in the state be zoned as landfill in the
comprehensive planning process. Currently the lower portion of MPCA site in the City is
zoned E~ 1 or E.2. Staff would propose leaving the western portion of the site which
consists of the Oaks Savannah zoned as Conservation. The Comprehensive Plan
consultants have suggested the possibility of a landfill overlay which would allow more
flexibility than zoning. The landfill overlay would be applicable as long as the methane
plume is active.
. She will be meeting next week with the cities of Dayton and Elk River, and Hennepin
and Anoka Counties to discuss the river crossing.
. The roles of the HRA and EDA will be discussed at the June 24th worksession. The
discussion will include clarification regarding the statutory limitations and abilities of
each body. EDA members are welcome to attend the worksession.

ADJOURN

Motion by Member LeTourneau, seconded by Member Steffen, to adjourn the meeting.

Motion carried.
