Case #4 Consider 2008 Storm Sewer Improvements <br />Background: <br />During the year staff is made aware of various drainage complaints from citizens. Four potential <br />projects were presented in the report, but they have not yet prepared, costs for them. The <br />problems are at: 16350 Kangaroo Street; 6941 152" Avenue; Llama Street and 163 Avenue; <br />and Kamacite Street and 148 Lane /Avenue. Staff reviewed some possible remedies for the <br />problems, but it was noted this is just a preliminary report. Some of these projects should be <br />within the scope of the Public Works Department. <br />There was a Consensus to direct staff to present more detailed information, including costs, at a <br />future Public Works Committee Meeting. <br />Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />Case #5 Receive Request for Stop or Yield Sign at the Intersection of Hedgehog Street <br />and 155 Lane <br />Background: <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the City has received a petition that meets the necessary <br />requirements and staff plans to begin doing traffic counts in the area. <br />Action: <br />No action required. <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br />Flintwood Hills <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that he has received a call from the Flintwood Hills area that <br />they wanted to petition to have a portion of 142 " Avenue closed between Highway 47 and <br />Argon Street.
