Recreational
burning is not to be used for disposal.
Recreational fires must
consist of clean dry wood, producing
little detectable smoke, odor or soot
beyond the property line; conducted
with an adult tending the fire at all
times. Respect weather conditions,
neighbors, burning bans and air qual-
ity so that nuisance, health or safety
hazards are not created.
The Ramsey Fire Department
suggests a 50 foot minimum distance
between the fire site and any structure

Public Safety

144 Kids Attend
Annual Safety Camp

Platinum Sponsors: city of
Ramsey, Do All Printing, Mercy
& Unity Hospitals, Outback
Steakhouse, Ramsey Lions Club,
Ramsey Rotary, Viking Council
- Boy Scouts of America

Silver Sponsors: Ace Solid
Waste, Altron, Inc., Burger King,
Carpenters Local #851, Grosslein
Beverages, Jimmy John's, Kemps
Ice Cream, Mama DeLuca's Piz-
zeria, McDonalds (Anol<a), North
Country Concrete, Inc., North Star
Towing & Service Center, Pagels
Engineering, Inc., Panther Preci-
sion Machine, Inc., Well's Cater-
ing, Wiser Choice Liquor, Zero
Zone

Recreational Burning
Regulations

or vehicle.
