Staff Recommendation: <br />1. Accept Greg Bauer, owner of the Trappers Ridge lot, agreement to perform a portion of the <br />required improvements on 160' Lane to comply with the Mediation Agreement which <br />improvements are as follows: <br />a) Place a 20 foot wide, four inch lift of class 5 in the path graded by the Public Works. <br />Department, <br />b) Place a 12 foot wide lift of bituminous pavement centered within the 20 foot based area. <br />2. City perform the following work on the Subject Roadway: <br />a) Clear trees/growth 18 feet on each side of the centerline. <br />b) Grub stumps and grade roadway to a width of 36 feet. <br />c) Sign both sides of the roadway for No Parking. (If determined to be necessary by the <br />City) <br />d) Place Minimum-Maintenance Roadway signs as required by State Statute. <br />Financial Impact: <br />The financial impact of the construction work to the City is estimated to be $3,774.00 with a <br />detailed breakdown as follows: <br />a) Tree removal will be done by City correctional workers .. $400.00 <br />b) Stump Removal and Skidsteer use (8 hours) ...........:......... $800.00 <br />c) Motor Grader and Operator. (8 hours) ................................ $930.00 <br />d) Brush Chipper and Truck (4 hours) .....:............................. $444.00 <br />e) Six :No Parking Signs" installed @ $200.00/sign.......... $1,200.00 <br />These funds will come from the City's general fund for street maintenance. <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to: <br />Accept Greg Bauer's offer to install the following improvements on the Subject Roadway: <br />a) Place a 20 foot wide, four inch lift of class 5 in the path graded by the Public Works <br />Department. <br />b) Place a 12 foot wide lift of bituminous pavement centered within the 20 foot based <br />area. <br />AND <br />Direct City Engineer/Public Works Department to do the following on the Subject Roadway: <br />a) Clear trees/growth 18 feet on each side of the centerline. <br />b) Grub stumps and grade roadway to a width of 36 feet. <br />c) Place Minimum-Maintenance Roadway signs as required by State Statute. <br />2 <br />-118- <br />
