Ordinance #08- <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA . <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 5 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE MUNCIPAL <br />REGULATIONS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.08.02- (Definitions), OF RAMSEY CITY <br />CODE. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City <br />of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2 AMENDMENTS <br />The Inoperable Vehicle definition of Section 5.08.02 (Definitions) within the Public <br />Nuisance section shall be amended to read as follows: <br />5.08 Public Nuisance <br />5.08.02 Definitions <br />Inoperable Vehicle- Any motor vehicle which cannot meet all of the following criteria: <br />1) The vehicle must be able to be driven or propelled under its own power upon demand <br />in its existing condition; and <br />2) The vehicle must be able to be driven or propelled under its own power in a safe <br />manner (not be wrecked, junked, or dismantled at the time of inspection and/or <br />abatement); and <br />~) The vehicle must Dave current licenses plates and tabs; and <br />4) The vehicle must have current proof of liability insurance, as required by State Law <br />SECTION 3 SUMMARY <br />-133- <br />
