Case # 8 <br />ADOPT AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF THE CITY CODE TO <br />INCLUDE SOCIAL HOST LIABILITY <br />By: James Way, Police Chief <br />Background: <br />City Council: .introduced anordinance at their regular meeting July 8, 2008, adding <br />Section 5.22, Social Host Liability. The ordinance is designed to hold the "host" <br />responsible for events and gatherings where underage persons are consuming or <br />possessing alcohols <br />Minor revisions were made by Council when the .ordinance was introduced.
