<br />Councilmember Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-05-078 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0825 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF <br />TWO PERMANENT SIGNS ON ONE LOT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey-Arbor Properties, hereinafter referred to as the "Permittee," has <br />properly applied for a conditional use permit to construct two (2) permanent signs on one parcel <br />on property legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Alpaca Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Applicant appeared before the Planhing Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Ramsey City Code on April 3, 2008, and that said public hearing was properly advertised <br />and that the minutes of said public hearing arJ hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned B-2 Busintss and is approximately 1.46 acres in size. <br /> <br />3. That the site has frontages on three (3) roads; Highway 10, Armstrong Boulevard, and <br />Riverdale Drive. <br /> <br />4. That the site is proposed to have a 7,800 squ e foot multi-tenant office complex. <br /> <br />5. That City Code allows for one (1) 100 square foot free standing or ground sign per parcel. <br /> <br />6. That the Applicant has submitted a site plan to construct two (2) permanent signs on the subject <br />property. <br /> <br />7. That the proposed use will not result in adverse effects on the public health, safety, and <br />welfare of the residents of the City. <br /> <br />8. That the proposed use will not adversely impact traffic in the area. <br />I <br />, <br /> <br />9. That the proposed use will not be unduly ~angerous or otherwise detrimental to persons <br />residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare. <br /> <br />10. That the proposed use will not substantiall)adverselY impair the use, enjoyment, or market <br />value of any surrounding property. <br />
