The following is a brief summary of actions taken in July that may be of interest <br />to the Planning Commission: . <br /> <br />Ramsey Town Center 6th Addition. City Council granted a six month extension to Preliminary Plan <br />approval and Final Pl.at submission. <br /> <br />Accessory Structure Code Amendment. City Council adopted the ordinance to amend Section 9.11.04 <br />(Accessory Structures) of the Zoning Code to include accessory buildings less than 120 square feet in -size <br />in the overall allotment calculation. . <br /> <br />Anderson Dahlen. City Council approved a .reduction in sanitary sewer and water trunk charges for the <br />Anderson Dahlen expansion. Anderson Dahlen requested reduction in these fees due to the fact that this <br />is an extremely unique situation in that no additional connections to these services are being constructed <br />and only a portion of the lot was previously designated as an Outlot. In addition, City Council approved <br />the request to vacate a portion of the drainage and utility easement to accommodate the expansion. <br /> <br />Cell Tower Ordinance. City Council introduced the ordinance to amend City Code Section 9.15 Towers. <br />Adoption of the ordinance is scheduled for August 12. <br /> <br />Sign Ordinance. City Council introduced the ordinance to amend City Code Section 9.12 Signs. <br />Adoption of the ordinance is scheduled for August 12. <br /> <br />Ramsey3 Update. The Ramsey3 Final Report has been completed and submitted to the McKnight <br />Foundation. Ramsey3 will present the Vision and Values document as well as the final report to City <br />Council in August. <br /> <br />Comprehensive Plan Update. Staff continues to work with the consultant on land use alternatives and. <br />the beginnings of a draft comprehensive plan. The Plannin~ Commission is reminded that there. is a Joint <br />Planning Commission/City Council meeting on August 12 . Following the meeting on August 12, staff <br />anticipates one to two open houses for the community regarding. several land use scenarios.
