<br />Councilmember Elvig stated that he had pressed for traffic counts to be taken and asked if that <br />has been done yet. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Olson stated that staff has already taken 2 traffic counts. He stated that <br />the intent is to take traffic counts before, during and after the construction. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec reiterated that he would like to make sure that the signs clearly let people know <br />how they can get to the businesses and would even like to see key businesses listed on the <br />signage. He asked if Mr. Koblarsic was the contact person for this project if anyone had <br />questions. <br /> <br />Mr. Koblarsic stated that people can contact him if they have any questions about the project. <br /> <br />Frank Yamoutpour, owner of the Shell station at Sunfish Lake Commons expressed his concern <br />about the road closures and stated that he had spoken with the BNSF representative and she told <br />him the closure would only be 4 weeks. He asked the Council what their understanding was of <br />the situation. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the railroad explained their time table tonight and that the closure of <br />the tracks will probably be 4 weeks, but noted that if the weather is bad, there is nothing that can <br />be done. He recommended that Mr. Yamoutpour contact the County with his specific questions <br />because they have the answers that the Council doesn't have. . <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec indicated that an Application for Lawful Gambling Premise Permit Submitted by <br />Anoka Ice Arena Association needed to be added to the Consent Agenda as item #24. <br /> <br />Councilmember Look stated that he would like to pull item #23 from the Consent Agenda and <br />add it as Case #7 for further discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to approve the <br />agenda, with the above changes. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Strommen, Dehen, Jeffrey, <br />Look, and Olson.
