Recommendations: <br />Staff recommends that it be directed to prepare plans and specifications for the 2008 Storm <br />Water Improvement Project-which would include the improvements at: 6941 152°d Avenue; <br />Llama Street and 163rd Avenue; and 6043 Highway 10. Staff further recommends that it be <br />directed to continue to work with the residents of the Kamacite Street and 148th Lane/Avenue <br />.project to determine the desired alternative and to proceed with the implementation of that <br />alternative. <br />Financial Impact: <br />The estimated cost of the 2008 Storm Sewer Improvement Project, including the Kamacite & <br />148th project which maybe undertaken by the Public Works Department, is estimated to be <br />$145,000 with funding from. the Storm Water Utility which is dedicated funding for addressing <br />these types of nondevelopment related storm water issues. <br />Action: <br />Motion to recommend to City Council that staff be directed to prepare plans and specifications <br />for the 2008 Storm Water Improvement Project which would include the improvements at: 6941 <br />152"` Avenue; Llama Street and 163r`~ Avenue; and 6043 Highway 10; and that staff continue to <br />work with the residents of the Kamacite Street and 148`h Lane/Avenue project to determine the <br />desired alternative and to proceed with the implementation of that alternative. <br />Reviewed by: <br />Director of Public Works/Principal City Engineer <br />Assistant City Engineer <br />Public Works Street Supervisor <br />PW: 07/15/08 <br />-172- <br />
