<br />Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08-06-101 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY'S RATES AND CHARGES BY <br />ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE HOME OCCUPATION PERMITS <br />AND REQUESTS FOR ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 13, 2008, the City of Ramsey amended Ramsey City Code Chapter <br />9 (Zoning and Subdivision of Land), Section 9.11.04 Home Occupations, delegating authority to <br />City Staff to review and approve certain types of home occupations administratively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the official list of Rates and Fees to include a <br />permit fee for Home Occupation Permits issued administratively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that Section 9.03.09 (Administrative Appeals) provides the opportunity for <br />persons that dispute City Staff s interpretation of City Code to apply for an Administrative <br />Appeal at the Board of Appeals and that City Council shall act as the Board of Appeals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the official City's official list of Rates and Charges does not establish a fee <br />for request for Administrative Appeals. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Ramsey hereby amends the official list of Rates and Charges, as adopted <br />by City Council on November 27, 2007, to include the following fees: <br /> <br />a) Administrative Home Occupation Permit - $200.00 <br />b) Administrative Appeal- $100.00 <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Olson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br />
