<br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING AUTHORIZATION TO <br />RECRUIT A PLANNER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the need to fill the vacant Planner position has been carefully evaluated; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Administrator is recommending that the position be filled; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending that the titles of the planner positions be amended to <br />Neighborhood Planner and GIS/Transportation Planner to more accurately reflect <br />responsibilities. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. Change the title of the Associate Planner position to Neighborhood Planner. <br />2. Change Tim Gladhill's title to GIS/Transportation Planner. <br />3. Direct staff to begin the process to fill the vacant Planner position. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />the 26th day of August 2008. <br /> <br />-113- <br />
