<br />c,.. \ 9 <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #08.08..X-:XX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ALLIED BLACKTOP <br />FOR DIVISION A OF THE 2008 PAVEMENT MAINTENANCE PROGRA,M <br />(IM:PROVEMENT PROJECTS 08-02 THROUGH 08-04) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br />advertisement for bids for the above-referenced work on May 15, 2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2008 Street Maintenance <br />Program, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 6, 2008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on June 10, 2008 the Ramsey City Council adopted resolution #08-06-099 <br />awarding Division A to Allied Blacktop Inc. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends partial payment to Allied Blacktop in the amount of$374,202.06. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAlVISEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Allied Blacktop Inc. for <br />Improvement Project 2008 Street Maintenance Program - Division A in the amolmt of <br />$374,202.06. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of August 26, 2008. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution.
