<br />CASE # <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ON ACQUISITION OF 7131166TH AVENUE NW, RELATED TO <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #08-27, 167THA VENUE NW REALIGNMENT <br />By: Tim Himmer, Assistant City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On August 12,2008 City Council authorized staffto begin negotiations for the required property <br />acquisitions for the realignment of 167th Avenue NW. During that meeting an alignment was <br />chosen and staffwas directed to begin discussions with the affected property owners on <br />acquiring the land necessary to complete the project. <br /> <br />The majority of the discussion centered on the property at 7131 166th Avenue NW, and how we <br />might be able to minimize the amount of land required to be obtained. Preliminary discussions <br />have been conducted and more information obtained.
