MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT

Police Chief Way stated that there were 5 arrests over the weekend for a cock-fighting ring. He
stated that there are gross misdemeanor charges and one possible felony charge pending. He
stated that at last count, there were 102 roosters on the 5-acre parcel. He stated that the original
complaint was related to noise.

City Administrator Ulrich stated that the City purchased the Hill property along Highway 10 and
there was thought of clearing the trees between this land and the Ramsey Town Center to create
better visibility. He noted that the trees are mainly Siberian Elms and asked if the Council
supported clearing this out or wanted a specific item on the agenda to discuss the issue.

There was a CONSENSUS of the Council to clear the area for visibility but keep the larger trees.

ADJOURNMENT

The Work Session of the City Council was adjourned at 7:18 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Kurtis G.
