RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT ,OF RAMS$Y RESIDENTS IN REGARD TO PACT <br />CHARTER SCH~OL ENROLLMENT PREFERENCE. . . . <br /> <br />. . . . <br />, . . . <br />. .WHEREAS,tlie City of Ramsey has an . obligation to provide . for the health, safety and <br />welfare of its residents which obligation the City Council finds includes the betterment of its <br />. residents by providing for a variety of educati()n8.J. opportunities; and . <br /> <br />WHEREAS~ the. PACT Charter SchoolhaS.been operatlngin the City of Ramsey since. . <br />. 2004, and proVidesari educational alternative for grades K-12; and .. . <br /> <br />. . . <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey does not have another school within its City limits that <br />serves kindergarten pupils 'or grade 6~ 12 pupils; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mlnn. Stat.g124D.10 Subd. 9.(3) ("Minn.
