Absent: None. <br /> <br />NOTE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> <br />The following Council minutes were noted: <br /> <br />1) City Council regular meeting minutes dated May 27,2008 <br />2) City Council regular meeting minutes dated June 10, 2008 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Request for a Conditional Use Permit for a Private Dog <br />Kennel to Maintain Four or More Dogs on a Parcel; Case of Lynette and <br />David Randall <br /> <br />This item was removed from the agenda upon adoption. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing - Discuss Ordinance to Amend Section 9.12 (Signs) of City <br />Code to Incorporate "Dynamic Display" Sign Regulations; Case of City of <br />Ramsey <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 7:19 p.m. in <br />order to call the public hearing to order. <br /> <br />Public Hearin2: <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt called the public hearing to order at 7:19 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner DaInes reviewed that the Planning Commission met on June 5, 2008, to <br />discuss the options for amending the sign ordnance and directed staff to use the City of <br />Minnetonka's sign ordinance as basis for revisions, and to research Ramsey businesses' use of <br />timing on existing electronic signs. The proposed ordinance was included in meeting packet <br />with major change being to the definition for "dynamic display" for present signs and <br />encompasses future technology. <br /> <br />Planning Commission / July 10,2008 <br />Page 3 of 17 <br />
