Staff has prepared draft feasibility studies which have been presented <br />to each of the three neighborhoods involved over the past two weeks for initial review and <br />comment. Attached to this case are copies of the feasibility studies and the written comments <br />received from those property owners which attended the informational meetings. The purpose of <br />this case is to review tkle studies and the issues which were raised by the property owners. <br />Notice: <br />Meeting attendees were advised that the feasibility reports would be presented to the i?'ublic <br />Works Comrxaittee at this evening's meeting along with their written comments. laroperty ewners <br />who did neat attend. were .mailed copies of the report and were also notified of the topic being oza <br />this agenda. <br />IP 08-31 Clzaxneleasz Street Paving <br />An informational meeting was held on Wednesday, September 3ra and was attended by 10 of the <br />20 benefitted property owners. No written comments were received. The following concerns <br />were expressed: <br />• A property owner having two lots, orie vacant and encumbered with an overhead power <br />line. easement objected to being assessed a full share for this lot and was opposed to the <br />paving project in general. <br />Past policy has been to assess ar:y vacant (but buildable) lot an equal assessment slxare, <br />The City would be unable to deny a budding permit providing the proposed reside#~ace <br />could meet all setbacks, tivhictr this parcel appears to be able to satisfy.
