e-s Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #08-09-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 1sT PARTIAL PAYMENT TO HARDRTVES INC. FOR DIVISION B OF THE 2008 STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM (IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS 08-OS AND 08-07) WHEREAS, on May 1 S, 2008 the Ramsey City Council. adopted a resolution accepting plans and specifications and authorizing the solicitation of bids; and WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Divisions B bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on June 6, 2008; and WHEREAS, on June 10, 2008 the Ramsey City Council adopted resolution #08-06-100 awarding Division B to Hardrives Inc. WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment No 1 to Hardrives Inc. in the amount of $256,112.IS. WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment No 2 to Hardrives Inc. in the amount of $28,192.39. NUW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Hardrives Inc. for Div. B of the Street 'Improvement Project in the amount of $28,192.39. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of September 23, 2008. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
